I think when you visit this place you should expect a few things. If it is a holiday there will be a wait. There will be many happy workers to help you pick your holiday selections. It will be expensive, let's be really this stuff costs more then HEB. At the same time it tasted much better then HEB. You can count on them year to year to give you a quality product. Those who do not plan do not save money in this place. Girl.... You better get your Honey Baked Ham gift cards from Costco and then seek out one of those coupons for this place.

I purchased a 100 gift card at Costco for 79.00 bucks and then a very nice man gave me a 7 dollar coupon at the store. Seriously if you got to have Honey Baked Ham for the holidays this is how you do it!!

I am only giving this review 3 stars because the products are good. If I were only rating on customer service I would have given them a big fat 0!

I ordered a whole smoked turkey for this upcoming Thanksgiving. When I asked three different "customer service agents" over the phone for the instructions on how to heat up the turkey, all three of them informed me the heating instructions were on the packaging of the bird. Not a single one of them told me that it was frozen and required at least 24 hours to thaw. Thank goodness I asked or this Thanksgiving would have been turkeyless!

I even went on the website to see if I could find the instructions, but no luck there either. Through further research not provided by HBHC, I have figured out that after thawing the turkey for at least 24 hours (in the frig) it will require some heating time in the oven. Take out of plastic. Cover with foil and place in shallow pan breast side up. Heat at 350 for about 10 min per pound.

I hope this helps any of you who might have had the same experience. Happy Thanksgiving!!

Three words to sum it up...Yum Yum & Yum.  I cannot say enough good things about hams form HBH.  They are so much better than the grocery store knock-offs.  You can even order 1/4 and 1/2 hams.  The ordering process was simple, pick up was easy and quick and service was TOP NOTCH.  I am already looking forward to ordering another ham.

Do they have zero stars?  The ham is good ... if memory serves me correctly.  Unfortunately, they have ruined my Easter dinner TWO YEARS in a row by not shipping on time.  Really? TWO YEARS in a row?  The only reason I gave them a second chance was because they gave me a $50 gift card.  Which I used on my $100 order ... which will ALSO NOT arrive on time.  EVEN WORSE?  They try to blame UPS.  You ship the same day it's supposed to arrive, but it's the shipper's fault?  Right...NEVER NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN

Absolutely love your ham, but your customer service is terrible.  In California and now in Texas. Friday before Easter. HBH on Research BLVD austin Texas.  Reserved ham before arrival.  Same line at store (why reserve ahead of time). 4 cash registers 2 open.  Manager and others walking around again two register and 25 customers out the door.   Busiest day of the year. Needless to say I waiting 30 minutes just to pick up my preordered ham
